GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB поступит в продажу 18-го июля

Ранее выпущенная RTX 4060 Ti с 8 ГБ видеопамяти была встречена обозревателями и покупателями прохладно, в основном из-за ее высокой цены в 399 долларов. Версия с удвоенным объемом памяти будет стоить 499 долларов. Пока нет никаких предпосылок того, что NVIDIA намерена внести какие-либо корректировки в цену до запуска новой модели. Как и RTX 4060, обновленная RTX 4060 Ti с 16 ГБ памяти будет эксклюзивной моделью AIB-партнеров NVIDIA: версии Founders Edition от NVIDIA не будет.

Поскольку выпущенная до этого версия с 8 Гбайт памяти собрала множество нелестных отзывов со стороны обозревателей и не вызвала интереса со стороны потребителей, NVIDIA решила провести запуск версии GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB вообще без официального привлечения СМИ. В итоге обзоров новинки сегодня опубликовано не было.

Производитель просто не стал рассылать образцы новинки на обзоры. Партнёры компании тоже всячески отнекивались от просьб прессы прислать свои варианты GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB. Обозревателям и блогерам необходимо самим приобрести видеокарту за свои средства, если они хотят выпустить на неё обзор. Как пишет портал TechPowerUp, он обратился сразу к нескольким производителям видеокарт, но все отказали изданию в предоставлении образцов RTX 4060 Ti 16GB на обзоры. Более того, NVIDIA, судя по всему, предприняла усилия для того, чтобы никто из вендоров не получил необходимую версию драйвера с поддержкой новой карты до её фактического старта продаж. Таким образом и подготовить обзоры заранее было попросту невозможно.
Отметим, что хотя технически продажи новинки действительно начались, однако покупателей на страницах товаров во многих популярных западных магазинах чаще всего встречают пометки «нет в наличии» или «скоро поступит в продажу», отмечает TechPowerUp.
Напомним, что GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB отличается от базовой модели лишь удвоенным объёмом видеопамяти, но при этом сохраняет 128-битную шину. В основе новинки используется графический процессор AD106-350 с 4352 ядрами CUDA. Заявленный показатель энергопотребления видеокарты вопреки ожиданиям составляет всё те же 160 Вт. Однако в продаже будут доступны модели и с повышенным TDP. Для работы карта использует лишь восемь линий PCIe 4.0. В эталонной версии Founders Edition ускоритель выпускаться не будет.
Примечательно, что даже собственный график внутренних тестов игровой производительности NVIDIA показывает, что разница в пользу «новой» карты наблюдается только в двух из десяти протестированных игр. Речь идёт о A Plague Tale: Requiem и ремейке Resident Evil 4. При этом в первом случае указывается прирост производительности с учётом технологии генерации кадров Frame Generation, а во втором без неё.
Следует учитывать, что рекомендованная стоимость RTX 4060 Ti 16GB на $100 выше, чем у модели с 8 Гбайт памяти и составляет $499. Как пишет TechPowerUp, цены на карту в магазинах ещё выше, в зависимости от производителя и применяемой системы охлаждения.
